Chicago's Western Avenue station, a short distance north of Chicago Union Station, was a major hotspot for Milwaukee Road passenger trains. Here a northbound commuter consist, featuring both a standard coach and a bi-level gallery car, leaves the station. At left is the Chicago & North Western coach yard.
