New York Central [Penn Central]
Ashtabula, Ohio (NYC Station)
April 4, 1971

Although still in use as a passenger stop in 1971, the Ashtabula, Ohio station is showing signs of the years of neglect by both New York Central and now-bankrupt successor Penn Central.

Sadly, the station was demolished in the spring of 2018 (cf. September 29, 2018 New York Times).
