Erie [Erie Lackawanna]
Warren, Ohio
September 2, 1973

In this aerial view of Warren, Ohio the trackage around the station is easy to make out, with the Erie mainline most prominent due to its evidently well-maintained ballast. At its right the "old main line" can be seen, which used to continue into street trackage in U.S. Highway 422 (South Street); to the left is the Baltimore & Ohio's trackage which parallels the Erie all the way from Youngstown to Leavittsburg before meandering south to Newton Falls. The Mahoning River can be seen winding through town; the smokestack in the upper center marks the location where the Erie's "freight line" (the former Atlantic & Great Western mainline) crosses the River.
