Canadian Pacific
Buffalo, New York (Buffalo Central Terminal)
April 4, 1971

One of the very last non-Penn Central trains to use Buffalo Central Terminal was the Canadian Pacific's Buffalo-Toronto rail-diesel car (RDC), seen here preparing for departure. It may not look like much, but it was comfortable and, more important, fast. Flying through the western suburbs of Toronto on the final approach to Toronto Union Station was an experience not to be forgotten.
