Baltimore & Ohio
Cleveland, Ohio (Clark Avenue Yard)
August 28, 1970

Shot from almost the same spot as the preceding slide, but on the other side of the Clark Avenue bridge looking south, another switcher is pulling a cut of cars south from the Clark Avenue Yard as the massive Jones & Laughlin Steel plant looms overhead; more J&L plant can be seen to the right further down the line. The yard trackage at right connected with the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad, which served the J&L plants. A bit further south from here at CT&V Junction the B&O will split into two lines: one to follow the Cuyahoga River to Akron and beyond, the other to head southwest through Parma Heights to join the B&O's east-west mainline at Sterling, Ohio.
