A Belt Railway of Chicago run heads for the U.S.Steel South Chicago plant. To the left is the former Pennsylvania Railroad main line (now Penn Central). The bridges in the distance belong to (left to right) Baltimore & Ohio (open), New York Central (open, now abandoned), and Pennsylvania (closed). At the far right is the Chicago Skyway highway bridge.
