Here, from the West 18th Street bridge, is the perfectly groomed Chicago & Western's Indiana right of way from 21st Street Crossing (visible in the background just to the left of the Pennsylvania's vertical lift bridge over the Chicago River South Branch). The boxcars at left are on the Illinois Central's St. Charles Air Line, with the former Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe passenger equipment servicing facility in the background. Behind the camera is the throat to Dearborn Station.
